Delaware Army MARS' principal state mission is providing emergency communications support and radio communications network engineering and maintenance support to the Delaware Army National Guard. To this end, Army MARS maintains a state-wide network of four VHF repeaters and a VHF packet network which is jointly used. Army MARS assists in the support of the Delaware National Guard's HQ radio station and backup radio communications in a number of the state's armories.
