were purchased from Mobicomm in The Netherlands. |
The top enclosure houses the 23 cm receiver with a Comet omnidirectional vertical antenna (about 5 dBd).. |
The bottom enclosure houses a 1-watt 23 cm video transmitter. The 23 cm helix antenna (Old Antenna Labs of Denver) with about 14 dBd of gain. |
Closeup of the transmitter enclosure. A siamese cable (quad shielded RG-6 for video and two 18 AWG power conductors for 12 VDC) will exit the enclosure through the cable gland and be terminated in a support module (yet to be built) on the ground.. |
